Entry Level:

Supplies:

  • Empty toilet paper roll
  • Red, yellow, and orange paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue

Step 1:

Trace the child’s hand on the yellow paper with a pencil.

Step 2:

Stack the red and orange paper behind the yellow paper that has the traced hand print.

Step 3:

Cut out the hand print with the three layers of paper.

Step 4:

Lay the red hand print down and glue the orange hand print on top on a different angle so you can still see the red handprint.

Step 5:

Glue the yellow hand print onto the other two, but on an angle so you can still see the different colors.

Step 6:

With the toilet paper roll vertical, glue the googly eyes onto the roll, towards the top.

Tip: You can cut the roll depending on the hand size.

Step 7:

Cut a little upside-down triangle into the toilet paper roll underneath the eyes. This will be the beak of the turkey.

Step 8:

Cut out a curved line with the red paper and glue it underneath the beak. This is the turkey’s wattle.

Step 9:

Apply glue onto the yellow hand print and stick to the toilet paper roll. The toilet paper roll should be vertical.
