My Anthony

I would like to tell you a little about my life. I am a 24 yr old single mom to 3 kids. My oldest is Anthony. He is 8 and has cerebral palsy. I have a 5 yr old who is healthy and a 16 month old who has recently been diagnosed with problems.
Anthony is a very special boy — he always has a smile . He has been through a lot. He had open heart surgery at 5 months. Then he had a fundoplication and g-tube at 3 yrs. The most recent problems Anthony has had seem to be with his lung function. He has atalectisis in his right lung and always is congested. My son has also been diagnosed with RAD, seizures, legal blindness, scoliosis and many more problems. This is extremely hard on me and my other children.. BUT I wouldn’t trade him for the world.
His prognosis isn’t so good and I know one day I’m going to have to let my angel spread his wings and fly. I want to encourage other parents out there to enjoy their children while u have them and don’t worry on the amount of time you have with them; rather think of how you will spend that time with your child.
