“In the Picture” Campaign- Promoting the Inclusion of Disabled Children in Early Years’ Picture Books

“In the Picture” Campaign: to promote the inclusion of disabled children in early years’ picture books.
A laudable campaign begun in the United Kingdom, I don’t know of anything similar here in the States.
It’s about putting disabled children literally ‘in the picture’ – including them in illustrations and storylines alongside non-disabled children. Currently, they are virtually invisible in mainstream childrens books,
Quentin Blake, renowned illustrator children’s widely known for his work with author Roald Dahl donates 3 of his works to the cause.
