10-Year-Old Entrepreneur Raises $150k, Sets Bigger Dreams

Back in June, we shared an inspiring story on our Facebook page about Keith Boyd, a 10-year-old entrepreneur who has Cerebral Palsy and is the CEO of Keith’s Ice Cold Lemonade Stand.

Keith’s Ice Cold Lemonade Stand stemmed from Keith’s gratitude towards The Little Light House in Tulsa, OK. The organization had gifted him with the Tobii Eye Tracking Technology, which allows him to speak and perform tasks using eye movements. To thank The Little Light House, Keith decided to craft a business plan to set up lemonade stands around Tulsa, in which the proceeds would benefit The Little Light House.

“My goal is to raise money for The Little Light House where I went to school until I was six. They have done so much for me; I want to give back so other kids can go to that school without paying any money,” said Keith.

With the help of  the owner of two Tulsa Chick-Fil-A franchises, Arthur Greeno, as well as Thrive15, and many sponsors, Keith’s Ice Cold Lemonade Stand launched on June 18th. By the end of summer, Keith raised about $150,000!

Now, Keith has even bigger dreams.

Keith has decided to launch Keith’s Ice Cold Beverages, which will offer lemonade packaged in 20-ounce bottles and eight-packs of juice boxes. A portion of the proceeds will fund his new foundation, The Keith Boyd Foundation, which will help give kids like him a voice. Keith’s motto is, “What’s stopping you?”
